How long have you been teaching?

This is my 8th year teaching.

What do you enjoy most about teaching?

Making things with my students like games, apps, projects, and memes.

What is your most memorable moment as a teacher?
I almost won a hot dog eating contest at a pep rally.

What subject do you teach? What do like about teaching it?

I teach Adobe Design and Computer Science. I love how the students figure out problems and express their creativity.

What hobbies do you enjoy?

Disc Golf, Video Games, Table Top Games, Guitar, Playing with my Son

NC State for both Bachelors and Masters (Go Pack)

What motivates you as a teacher?

Completing projects

What is your favorite thing to teach about and why?

Python is my favorite programming language and I love teaching it.

What behaviors do you expect to see around the school or in your classroom?

Students making each other laugh

Did you have a job before teaching, and if so what was it?

I had a number of jobs before I settled down with teaching. I have been a window cleaner, cook, pizza guy, bartender, bus driver, cart boy at a golf course, and a kayak guide.
